Hello everyone!  I just wanted to give you an update on how everything is going with my teddy bears and how you can get one. I receive many questions a day about custom orders, how to get a teddy bear, how often I make them, etc and I would like to address some of that now.  In 2016, I started a waitlist for custom order teddy bears. The list grew and grew and before I knew it, the wait was several years in advance. At that time, I worked at least 40 hours a week making teddy bears so even though it was a lot, it was never a problem to keep up. Very unexpectedly in February 2017 I found out I was pregnant (after 17 years of marriage and no baby!) and due to have my baby in October. Since then, everything has changed as you can imagine! Now if I am lucky I get 8 to 10 hours a week to work on teddy bears. I am still trying to please everyone and keep everyone happy that would like to have a teddy bear. However, at this time I have decided I am going to cancel the prior waitlist and just focus on offering pre-ordered teddy bears now. The reason for this is that custom orders are really slowing me down. It takes a lot of time to track people down,  wait for their response, converse with them over several days, e t c.. Then, I have to search for and order various different materials because many times people want teddy bears I have made several years ago. All of this is very time-consuming and takes away from the time I have to make teddy bears. I feel like the best thing now is just to continue with the pre-orders so that I can make small batches of teddy bears that are just alike, using the same fabric and materials.  I hope to not upset anyone and I hope that if you were on the previous waitlist you will understand. I will be offering small batches, 8 to 10 teddy bears of the same style, available for pre-order every couple of months. I will change the style I am offering occasionally. I am not making a special wait list for the pre-orders. However, if you would like me to let you know the day before I offer pre-orders, I will be happy to!
